The frühlingsrollen shot and this one seem to oscillate between being interesting compositions and terrible, duly colored, badly lit snapshots.

I like almost abstract art.
The way that some artists can make a painting be both abstract and recognisable at the same time really impresses me - when at best, such a picture just sits there shifting between the two states
